The "Trappeto Caprafico" company is a family business for the past five generations.
Born at the beginning of 1874 when the great-grandfather Tommaso Masciantonio moved from the agro of Casoli in Caprafico and planted the first olive trees of Gentile di Chieti and Intosso . It has been named " Trappéto Caprafico " in 1948, when it was equipped with oil press (oil mill) thanks to the grandfather Tommaso.
The love for this product pushed Paolo and Casimiro (sons of Tommaso) to design the first label in 1978. Currently, the future of the company is represented by Tommaso, son of Paolo, the fifth generation, who strongly believed in this reality. In fact, since 2004 the company is completely under Organic regime and a new two-phase and half continuous system of last generation has been introduced in order to have a good blend of tradition and innovation.
